Miscarriage Documentary - Oct. 2026 Group Session

Thank you for your interest in participating in the documentary feature Black Box, directed by Annie Marr. We are looking to organize a group of around 6 women / non-binary individuals who have experienced miscarriage - either recently or at any point in the past - and are looking to share their story on screen. This group session will be led by therapist Meredith Isaksen.

Tentative dates for the session are October 17th / 18th, at a location in San Francisco.

We aim to create an experience that is cathartic, healing, and inspirational for the film’s future audience. The film aims to create a sense of openness around miscarriage, so that more women feel comfortable sharing their stories, and we can break cycles of silence and shame.
