“Rodeo Queens” is a coming-of-age story set among the dust, glitter, and spectacle of the California rodeo. Confronting deeply rooted sexism in the rodeo and its imminent economic decline, two rodeo queen sisters fight to shape the future of their town’s most cherished tradition. Thrust into a community at a crossroads, the girls must navigate the tension between who they’ve been taught to be, and who they want to become.
